Yes, all Oya portable power stations use Pure-sine wave inverters. Pure sine wave inverters are capable of producing cleaner, smoother, quieter, and more reliable electricity to operate appliances and electronics without interference.
What types of battery does Oya use?
LifePO4 Battery: Performance and Durability The LifePO4 battery is expected to retain over 80% of its original capacity after 3500 cycles, with a slight decline thereafter due to battery degradation. This does not indicate a 3500cycle lifespan limit; rather, optimal performance is sustained up to that point.
Compared to standard lithium batteries, it boasts a lifespan six times longer. Additionally, the LiFePO4 battery is renowned for its safety, stability, and eco-friendliness, containing no harmful heavy metal elements.
Can I use third party solar panel?
The majority of solar panels available are generally compatible, but it’s essential to verify if the specifications and plug align (within 150V, and using an Anderson connection port). Feel free to reach out to us via email before connecting them.
We recommend connecting the Oya solar panel with the Oya solar generator for optimal performance since the generator already oĊers a solution tailored to it, as well as for third- party solar panels. Using solutions from diĊerent companies may lead to conflicts, potentially aĊecting the charging eċciency, despite their universal nature.
Can I use a third party expanded battery?
The Oya s2 cannot be extended with a third-party battery. Please opt for the Oya EX2 expanded battery instead.
How do I know if the S2 can power my device?
The Oya S2 can run any device that requires 230v and 2500W. You can calculate the charge time using the following formula: 2048Wh* 0.85 / operating power of your device.
Does the Oya S2 package come with all the charging cables?
Yes, the Oya S2 package will come with all the charging cables, you don't need to purchase any extra cables.
Is the solar panel waterproof? Can I use an extension cable?
We offer a waterproof treatment for solar panels, but it's not advisable to use them in rainy conditions. Unlike hard solar panels, portable ones cannot be completely waterproofed. Prolonged exposure to rain might decrease cell eċciency. The solar charging cable is 16 feet long, with extensions available on our website. Keep in mind that using extension cables may reduce charging eċciency and prolong the charging time.
What is the warranty period for Oya S2?
