What types of battery does Oya S5 use?
LifePO4 Battery: Performance and Durability The LifePO4 battery is expected to retain over 80% of its original capacity after 3500 cycles, with a slight decline thereafter due to battery degradation. This does not indicate a 3500cycle lifespan limit; rather, optimal performance is sustained up to that point.
Compared to standard lithium batteries, it boasts a lifespan six times longer. Additionally, the LiFePO4 battery is renowned for its safety, stability, and eco-friendliness, containing no harmful heavy metal elements.
Can I use third party solar panel?
The majority of solar panels available are generally compatible, but it’s essential to verify if the specifications and plug align (within 150V, and using an Anderson connection port). Feel free to reach out to us via email before connecting them.
We recommend connecting the Oya solar panel with the Oya solar generator for optimal performance since the generator already oĊers a solution tailored to it, as well as for third- party solar panels. Using solutions from different companies may lead to conflicts, potentially affecting the charging eċciency, despite their universal nature.
Are all Oya Portable Power Stations come with pure-sine wave inverter?
Yes, all Oya portable power stations use Pure-sine wave inverters. Pure sine wave inverters are capable of producing cleaner, smoother, quieter, and more reliable electricity to operate appliances and electronics without interference.
Does the Oya S5 package come with all the charging cables?
Yes, the Oya S5 package will come with all the charging cables, you don't need to purchase any extra cables.
Is it waterproof? Is it fireproof?
Oya S5 is not waterproof. Please make sure to shelter it from rain.
The outer case of our products is made of fireproof material UL 94-V0.
How do I know if the Oya S5 can power my device?
The Oya S5 can run any device that requires 230v and take 10A current. It can power multiple devices up to 5000W. You can calculate the charge time using the following formula: 5040Wh* 0.85 / operating power of your device/ devices.
Can I use a third party expanded battery?
The Oya S5 cannot be extended with a third-party battery. Please opt for the Oya EX5 expanded battery instead( coming soon).
What is the warranty period for Oya S5?
